So I got pushed into updating my SDR# from the older version I had to the current AirSpy SDR# Studio v1.0.0.1811. I'm using a NewGen RTL2832SDR which has worked wonderfully for me.

I CAN NOT for the life of me get SDR# via VBCable setup to connect to DSD+ FastLane...

Does anyone have an explanation or solution as to what I could start to look at? AirSpy 1.0.0.1811 is SOOOO much newer and fancier compared to the older SDR# I was using. It doesn't even have a DSD+ option menu!

Regards,

Well, I got it working...The only thing is I can't "LISTEN" via AirSpy SDR# yet...

Why 'pushed'? Many people use old versions of sdrsharp. I use .1700 mostly but on a couple of the PCs I also use other versions (including .1811) concurrently

I have 2 copies.
An older version that just works with everything and doesn't lag.
And the new version, which sucks. Laggy, slow, ugly - I just hate it.

It was a MUCH older copy than that!

I have 1811 and it seems to be okay once I got all the settings sorted out. RTFM isn't easy sometimes!

Which still doesn't explain 'pushed'?

As for your comment about sdrsharp .1811 "not even having a DSD+ option menu"....no official version of sdrsharp ever has. That functionality was provided by a third party plugin.

Windows kept giving me JIT issue among others and so I was forced by Windows to update or not run the program basically, so PUSHED/FORCED/whatever.

The version of SDR# I had, maybe the plugin was already there and because the menu was there I just was able to open SDR# and there it was at the bottom left! "Start DSD" and "Configure" along with an audio option.

EITHER WAY, I have things up and running again, for now...
