Using Sentinel is there a way to get the Alpha Tags listed in Radio Reference instead of only the Channel Description. I would like to use the Alpha Tags but it is a pain to manually modify each entry.
TIA

I don't think so. However, you could copy from Radio Reference, paste in to Excel or another spreadsheet, and then selectively, paste in to Sentinel.

It would be nice if you could. The only way to easily import exactly what you want and have the short alpha tags, is to use either ProScan, or ARC536.

ProScan will do this. You're a premium member as well so you can utilize the database import properly.

Further proof highlighting that Sentinel lacks useful features, is behind the times and needs some updating. @ProScan , Butel and Freescan all give the user the choice of how data (that's in the database) (just so there is no confusion) gets imported. If 3rd party software can do this, give the end user the choice, surely Uniden can do this as well.

The easiest way to swap out description with alpha is to set the tg's of interest in Sentinel to sequential order by tgid. Then download the tg csv from the database. Manipulate the csv to match exactly what's in Sentinel. Same tg's, same order.

When you are confident both are displayed the same way, simply copy the column in the csv containing the alpha tags, and paste them into Sentinel description column. This will preserve any set preferences like service types, alerts, avoids etc.
