I have been thinking about getting an Amateur Ham Radio License for the past little bit.

How can I go about getting one in the GTA, how much does it cost, where can I study for the test?

hi the best bet is to contact your local ham radio club as some clubs offer classes to prepare you to take the exam or may have a volunteer examiner within their club that will be able to give you the exam as for the license there is no cost for it and the cost of the exam is ether to be discussed with the volunteer examiner or if you go to the industry canada office it is 20 bucks per exam.from your post i see you live is mississauga here is a link to the radio club for the area with the class info
