Take your pick. And most only transmit out of band when modified. Although some of the new China models may break that constant, haven't dealt with them, and don't plan to.

Any dual band from Alinco, Icom, Kenwood, or Yeasu would have to be modified for out of band use.

You can get a pretty inclusive list by going to the ham radio dealer's website of your choice and selecting tranceivers > handheld > 2m/70cm

Do like I did buy a tribander then one day we all can go in 220 and have a chat because from what I heard waiting for my ticket to get in the database 220(1.25) is real quiet around these parts!!

All depends on what you want in the radio for 2/440 or triband that does 2/220/440 or does it all 6/2/220/440 like the Yaesu vx8dr does. All depends on your location as well like 2 meters, 6 metters, 220 band or the 440 mhz. I would ask around in your area.

I just don't want a handheld radio that transmits out of band seems
Like most handheld radios do. A 2 meter and 70cm handheld radio is what I need
5 Watts on 2 meters and 4 Watts on 70cm multi band handheld radio.

You can also program the Wouxun so it will only TX in band. Just set the software. They are great little HT's. I've owned mine for over 2 years.

As the new, "American" units arrive at your house, out of the box, they will not transmit out of band. You have to modify the radios to do so. The new, very cheap, Chinese portables might transmit out of band as delivered, but Yaesu, Icom, and Kenwood radios won't. You can read the specs for these radios online at the various manufacturers' websites; all the technical information is published for all to see.

Correct. Out of the box, the YaeComWood radios will not transmit out of the amateur bands. They have to be physically modified.

This weekend I needed advice on which handheld to buy that
wouldn't transmit out of band the radios I looked at 2 meters
Is the complete band. The wouxun seems like a nice radio 5 Watts
On 2 meter and 4 Watts on 70cm. Thanks.
