I noticed Amazon.com facilities are not listed in counties they hold licenses in. RRDB lists them as FRN. Is there a reason we don't see Amazon in local county listings? I mean like OKlahoma>Oklahoma County.... for example.

It seems that you're confusing the RRDB with the raw FCC data. Listings only make it into the RRDB once they are discovered and verified by members of RR. The presence of a license is not considered confirmed data until a human actually determines that something is on the air.

So you're saying none of the Amazon facility frequencies have been verifiable. Many in California, Some in Texas, a few here in Oklahoma City, and other places. California being the longest established location of Amazon. Nothing listed nowhere in any local listing in any RRDB. Seems more to the story??

I would imagine they are all verifiable, but none have been verified yet (assuming that your statement is correct).

And I'm also quite sure their is nothing more to the story, so let's not start any conspiracy theories.

No conspiracy theories intended just clarifying. I don't do conspiracy. I guess not enough interested.

You're reading way too much into what I wrote. I never said they weren't "verifiable", however if there are no listings for any Amazon facilities anywhere in the RRDB (doubtful), then it would appear that they have not be verified. Verified vs verifiable, there is a distinction between the meaning of those two words.

Here's one I found in about 10 seconds...

And another...

And there we have it. Appears that the only thing "more to this story" was a lack of searching the RRDB before posting.

I initiated a thread in the Oklahoma forum for Amazon OKC1 because I heard what sounded like Amazon on 451.9375MHZ. Another RR member initiated a database submission for their findings which I am totally grateful to them for. I think that's a good way to get things done is to ask for help in verifying amongst the local community.

I was having troubles finding an example of another Amazon facility system somewhere else in the USA. Very long list of them to sort through. I wanted to see how Amazon has their other system set-up. It was found OKC1 has two shared frequencies with a Connect+ system. The other frequencies are running DMR conventional. Not real clear if Amazon is planning on making there system full time Connect+ or not.

When I said "Seems more to the story" I didn't mean to bring up any conspiratory theories. I wanted to be certain it wasn't something like a delay in RRDB approvals or not because the user said it has been a week. Now I believe just maybe not enough of a user interest in submitting Amazon frequencies. Here in Oklahoma we gonna fatten the pig. That means fill up our RRDB with as much as possible. This is why I choose to manually tune to various frequencies for anything new. I always check FCC database.

I think you may have hit the target. It seems like someone is interested in every type of listening, but there may not be that many folks interested in Amazon Distribution Center listening. I have my own listening preferences and listen to some things outside of those preferences once in awhile, but usually not long and return to my regular listening preferences. I might listen to a distribution center occasionally if one was nearby (there isn't), but I do have more interest in the hospital a mile away.
