FORT COLLINS – Police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl, last seen at 3 p.m. on Friday.
Fort Collins Police say 14-year-old Kaylee Jackson, who was last seen at her grandmother’s house, sent her grandmother and father a text message which stated “HELP” at about 3:47 p.m. on Friday.
Police say, moments later, Kaylee sent a second text message stating, “HELP…..Kansas.”
Authorities believe the missing girl may be traveling with 19-year-old Daniel Greene, who they say is possibly her boyfriend.
Police are looking for a 1983 white Toyota hatchback with Colorado license plate 600 ONG in connection with the case.
Kaylee is described as a white female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 115 pounds with brown eyes and long, straight brown hair. She was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police say the sweatshirt is cut off along the bottom.
Greene is described by authorities as a 19-year-old white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 145 pounds, with hazel eyes and short, straight brown hair.
Police say they have not received any contact or messages from Kaylee since her second text message was sent.
