An-124 Arriving CYYZ

Feb. 14 - For anybody in the area and online at the moment there's an An-124 landing Toronto CYYZ runway 05 at about noon local. Currently in the downwind just north of the airport in descent. VDA2830

They came into Edmonton a few years back. Incredible to see that aircraft fly. Another one to listen for is the largest commercial passenger aircraft in the sky, the Airbus A380

An-124s are fairly regular visitor at YYZ both by VDA and ADB. As for the A380, Emirates operates 5x a week in and out of Toronto. During WX diversions we've had 3 on the ground at one time (3 different carriers) once or maybe twice. The last real "special treat" was the one-off An225 a couple of years back, so far it's only appearance here.
