An old BC220 Scanner

I have a chance to buy a BC220 for $10, Can some one tell me a little about it. I know it doesn't do 800 band but that is about all I know.

I had a BC220 years ago (wish I still had it) and it was a great scanner. It covers aircraft VHF and the normal Lo band, Hi band and UHF and had 20 channels.

1979 model with 20 channels in two banks. Covers 32-50, 118-136, 144-74, and 420-512. Scan speed 11 ch/sec, has selectable channel delay and lockout. Channel 1 can be selected as priority. One custom search range plus preprogrammed marine and air band searches. Owners and service manuals available at mods.dk.
