Anderson County

Been hearing comms on 453.275 with units calling Lawrenceburg, and other traffic relating to areas in Anderson Co.
I find no license info for anything in Anderson Co on that frequency.
Anyone have any info on this?

Years ago 453.275 was often used by the KSP to talk to local agencies. Some radios on this frequency may still be in use.

I think I found an answer.
Anderson Co is licensed on several 458.XXX frequencies, including 458.275, for 2 watts, which I would assume are mobile extenders.
That is the input for our area wide PD repeater here in NoKY.
The input for our repeater is CSQ, so anything it hears , it is going to repeat.

I've been hearing that traffic as well and been wondering, didn't realize the input into the Areawide channel is CSQ. Interesting catch.

On this note, do you know where that repeater is located. I've always wondered that since it gets such good coverage all over northern kentucky.

The 453.275 repeater is located at Taylor Mill Rd ( KY 16 ) and I-275.
