It would probably be very awkward to use? What are you looking for, a Sentinel type of programming to dump a file into the scanner or a virtual display type where you edit what you have already in the scanner by pushing buttons?

I am keen for making changes on the move, without having to carry my laptop.
What it is that an Android phone or tablet can do that you cannot do directly on the scanner? What kind of functionality are you looking for that makes it easier or the only option to use an app?

It is more making changes when I don't have the scanner with me and then loading them in. It looks like carrying my laptop is the best solution.

Maybe you then can simply record a voice note on your phone or take a picture of any data and then use that info when you are at your computer?

So what you actually need, if at a remote location without the scanner at hand, are a favorite file editor like Sentinel/ProScan/Arc that works within an Android OS and then either program the scanner directly or copy the file over to a computer?

Depending of what you actually will edit I would suggest to convert your favorite lists to CVS and then use any Excel type of program for Android and edit or add things as you like and then import that file in ARC or ProScan, I believe they can do both export and import of CVS.

The point being, you NEED either your fingers and modify your favorites by hand directly on the scanner, or use a windows computer (or emulated windows on a Mac) to do it.
