Waxing opinion here, but wow, what an unusual place for a security camera with such a high resolution; homeowner said "put up the camera 'cuz I had a car stolen". Insert your own opinion here........

While I haven't really considered "HD" CCTV cameras the lowest `resolution' I have in use around our place is 480 `TV Lines' with the majority of them being 520 `TV Lines'. My reasoning being that if I am going to be `dependant upon' them for any possible `proof' / `ID' I want the best, at the time I installed them, pictures possible. I figure that may be why the lady's camera may be as good as it appears to possibly be. Kudos to both her and whomever installed it / `them?'.

And, yep, Jim I have a couple cameras aimed down the lane and field access `roads' for `warning' of impending `visits'. {GRIN!} Fortunately I haven't gotten any `visitors' that have been worrisome.

As for the video from that incident, I hope that it `goes viral' and helps highlight this type of situation.
