antenna connector and integral antenna

what is the difference between "having an antenna connector" and "integral antenna"?? :?:

I'm not sure the context you got those terms from but I read it as the difference between removable or interchangable antennas and permanently attached antennas.

One of the requirements for an FRS radio, for example, is that the antenna be pernamently affixed to the radio so as to keep effective radiated power (ERP) levels within the legal limit.

Hi guys,

That's right, an FRS unit employs an integral antenna, that is one that is part of the unit and cannot be removed. Another example is the ferrite AM loopstick in a "transistor radio" is an inegral antenna.
