Radio shack carries galvanized guy wire and some other connectors but how do you end the wire. They don't sell anything to end the wire. Do you just knot the cable around the hook eye or what. They have a mast connector for the wire, eye hooks to screw into the roof, ,and turn buckles what to end the wire? TIE IT? Any pics on install? Thanks Ron

You need a wire cable clamp to terminate the end of the wire at the eye bolt, or wherever you need to terminate it. Do a Google search for "wire cable clamp".

You need a wire cable clamp to terminate the end of the wire at the eye bolt, or wherever you need to terminate it. Do a Google search for "wire cable clamp".

Use care when putting on the clamp though, it must be put on correctly or it can cause a failure. The cable has a "live end" (the side with the tension that's between the anchor and the tower) and a "dead end" (the free end that's between the anchor and the loose end of the cable). If you attach the clamp backwards, the swaying on the live end can cause the guy to break due to the tension. When attached correctly, the dead end has no tension so there should be no chance of breaking.

Examples of the right and wrong way to install them are here http://www.usbr.gov/ssle/safety/RSHS/appD.pdf (around page 6). There are many other good tips that may be helpful in that link as well.
