I have a RadioShack Pro-163 that I use for my Live Feed. I am going to buy the BCD536HP in the future. I live in an apartment and i'm not allowed to have an outside antenna. What do you suggest for this application? The area i'm in has a lot of conventional channels and the only digital is Lifeflight and Ohio State Highway Patrol. Please HELP.

Im in Erie County Ohio.

Need more information for a good response.... You said you want to listen to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.-"Ohio MARCS" would be the digital portion. For Lightflight, do you mean talkgroups 10880,10896,10912,10928,10944,10960,10976,18896,18912,18976,19120 of the Ohio MARCS? What freq range for the conventional stuff you want to listen to? This makes a big difference with antennas. For the 800mhz digital, seeing as it is a state-wise system should be fairly strong. Yagi would work well if you have room and can be made fairly small for 800mhz. Need to know location of towers to aim though. Also, are there large amounts of metal or concrete in your house/building? If so good luck as these make great rf blockers which isn't a good thing. Need more information.
