Antenna recomendation

Currently have BC996 scanner. Would like separate antenna for VHF and UHF. No real need for 800 antenna. Any recommendation on best antenna for each band, and which antenna coupler to use?? If memory is good, most of the Uniden scanners were basically set up for a 1/4 wave vhf antenna back in the day.
