• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Recently, Anthony Wayne Schools was licensed on two new narrowband frequencies of 151.5875 and 153.425 MHz. This morning, I am hearing a school system dispatching their buses with a PL tone 210.7 Hz, on the latter of the two aforementioned frequencies. Can anyone closer to Toledo and/or Whitehouse confirm if this is indeed Anthony Wayne Schools?

I checked those new ones last week. Nothing heard. The buses were still on their old 153.425/160.080 repeater with a 210.7 PL. Since you're hearing a 210.7 PL, I'll check the new freqs again tomorrow, just in case they fired up a new repeater in the past week.

Not Anthony Wayne Schools.

One (unidentified) user the whole day, "Unit 103 to unit 504". One call, nothing more.

AW still on their former freqs.
