Any future firmware updates for 996t?

I was wondering if UP man or anyone else, for that matter, could tell me if there are any future firmware updates planned for the 996t.

I have the latest update now, and I am planning to buy both the base, and handheld versions of the new HP scanners, but I still love my 996t, its still a great scanner, just didn't know if there were any more updates, planned for it in the future .
