Any good streaming software for a MAC (OSX)?

I am guessing its mostly a windows world for this stuff, but I have a small mac mini I use as a home network server. It acts a plex and print server, it sits right next to my scanner and it occurred to me that I might be able to plug the scanner output to my mac and stream the scanner output throughout the house.

Anyone know of any good way to do this in OSX?

I just got a HomePod and I can see how you could easily stream the scanner output to multiple rooms with the right streaming software.

butt iin association with Ladiocast. I switched to these programs. And everything was working fine, Until I did the latest MacOS update. I am going to try to set up an older computer shortly.
