We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. I'm hearing what I believe is Barrow County PD on the Hall County system. They have handheld units and are testing around different areas of the county.
Anyone know if they are having problems with their new VHF, P-25 system?

They are testing a 700 - 800 MHZ system before they decide to switch over from the current P25 VHF system in place to a 700 MHZ system.
They do have issues with current system and coverage within Barrow county that have caused life-safety issues in the past.

That answered my question! Thanks.
They are still doing testing on Hall County's P-25, 800MHz system. No 700MHz.
