Any Real Radio Stores?

Are there any real radio stores here in WV? I don't mean "Radio Shack" but a store that specializes in radios/scanners.... Perhaps something in Charleston or a small independent store in a small town....

I tried Google and only found something in VA

I was told one in Summerville, I think it work independent with Radio Shack but I understand you can by lots of radio's or radio parts even with fire radio and pagers, unlike your standard Radio Shack.

Electronic Communications in Cross Lanes. I get my scanner and cb antenna's from them and they also do our city and county cruisers, plus alot of other towns. Plus they do the radios for the cruisers as well. Install and programing.

Good old HRO is as real as they get, pricing isn't bad, and they do great job with shipping.

drmh-how far are ya from Woodbridge, Va? I know the it's a bit over 200 miles from there to Wheeling. Daytrip? Pack the sammies and hit it

oh for us here it's about 115 miles to Cross Lanes WV and about 310 miles to Woodbridge VA - can make 2 road trips outta that and go to Washington too! lol

there are several 2-way radio shops in wv. as for a HRO/Universal Radio type place none that I know of in WV.

I have an idea, perhaps if we had a list here of actual WV radio stores with address posted here, members who know of these stores could contribute the info and help so we all will know where these local stores are....
