To check battery voltage: Press PGM, F, ENT. Press MAN or SCAN to exit.
Permanent back light: Press & hold light key until beep is heard. Back light will now stay on until scanner is turned off.

Does anyone have any cool tricks for the PRO-164?

This one's really cool and guaranteed to make you hot.
When you turn on the scanner and you see “Multi-system Trunking Scanner”
press 0, 1, ENT.
Then all your programming will be deleted.
