Any WashCo public service left on FM?

Kids are working on getting their Technician licenses and I thought it would be good to maintain interest if they were able to listen to public service on the FM HT's (Baofeng UV82 with locked down programming). When I loaded up the FM frequencies on the database for SG and WC law/fire, I didn't hear any activity, except the occasional transmission on SGFD 1.

Has everything gone digital and is FM just sitting there unused? The HT seems to pickup the VHF Intermountain Intertie activity pretty well, so I don't think it is a hardware problem.

Thanks in advance for your help I know the 435 is pretty sleepy but I didn't think it was THAT quiet.

I believe most have gone to 800 MHz on the UCAN system.

Thanks! I will break out the PSR800 and see what htis it gets vs the HT.

It's patched I believe from VHF to 800, so might hear some stuff
