I don't use them but several club members do and have had good experiences with them. One member had a direct lightning strike that took out various pieces of electronics and appliances and his ARRL insurance paid for his listed ham equipment quickly and without hassle (he did need to get a company verify that the equipment was damaged beyond economic repair but that's pretty typical and easy to do). They also paid for replacement cost on most items (those he listed full replacement cost for a new replacement item on his policy anyway). His homeowner's insurance gave him grief on pretty much everything he sent a claim in on. When they did pay, they did their best to only pay depreciated cost on the items that were totaled out although they did a good job repairing items that could be repaired per the company they picked to examine the damaged/destroyed items.
