Anyone know what CNC could stand for?

I listen to Seattle fire radio and recently I've heard the term CNC from a first responder in reference to a deceased patient and was wondering if anyone knew what it stood for? Thanks, I've been searching all over the web for various acronyms for CNC but nothing seemed like it related to someone dying.
