AOR has added some Tetra decode capability to the DV1 receiver. According to their site:
"Compatible Tetra mode: DMO MOBILE TO MOBILE (also called “direct mode”
Non-compatible Tetra modes: DMO REPEATER and TRUNKING VIA BASE STATION. (These modes are under evaluation)."
I know that Tetra is more often used in Europe, but I believe there is some Tetra activity in the NY/NJ area. So this is just a heads-up for those with the DV1 to hunt out any Tetra activity in the area.
Perhaps those who have logged any activity can add to this thread.
