I'm considering an AOR 2300 receiver. Can anyone comment on the performance?

I originally had a GRE800 in mind but I like how the AOR covers more range. I'm in NYC do you think trunk tracking is mandatory?

If your looking for the biggest bang for the buck I would look at the GRE PSR-500, 800 or Uniden 396XT. I have several AOR models, they are typically reserved for specialty monitoring.

Much of the choice will depend on what you intend to listen to.
