ARC 500 Virtual Control

I went to try the virtual control on ARC 500 with my Pro 197 and received a message saying "Runtime Error 75 - Path/File access error." I have no problem uploading and downloading to/from the scanner.

I went to try the virtual control on ARC 500 with my Pro 197 and received a message saying "Runtime Error 75 - Path/File access error." I have no problem uploading and downloading to/from the scanner.

I have the same problem. If I don't get the Runtime Error, ARC500 just closes. I was able to use the virtual control when I first loaded the program.

Locate the arc500.exe file under c:\program files\butel\arc500 and then do a right mouse and open the properties menu. Next locate the compatibility tab and select 'Run as administrator'.
