ARC300 question.

I downloaded a demo copy of ARC300 for my old Pro97. Problem 1: when I save my file with conventional frequencies (pl/dpl included) everything is fine. When I close and reopen the same file the dpl's are in search. Problem 2: when I amended the same file with new frequencies and uploaded to the scanner all pl/dpl are missing on the scanner, but the software still shows them. Using the 20-546 cable and latest software, frequencies are Vhf high. Hope I explained it well enough. Thanks, Chuck.

Make sure you set the correct mode (CTCSS or DCS) when using subtones.

Thanks Gommert, that fixed the problem. My next concern is I have a file loaded into the scanner and I want to add another file the original file disappears from the scanner and I'm only left with the second file. Both of these files are saved in ARC300 Binary files. Thanks, Chuck.

That is a limitation of the scanner. To add data first read from the scanner in the software then add the new data and finally upload back to the scanner.
