Would it be possible to add the following in the ARC996 that the ARC250 has:

-Auto Lockout after logged:
*****in Trunk ID search mode
*****in Search mode

and

-Auto Resume after logged:
*****in Trunk ID search mode
*****in Search mode

Go to log options tab and tick option to log every event or log to a file.

I downloaded the demo the pro version my question is do I really need the pro I don't see any advantages to recording? am I missing something in the recording? Or should the basic be enough?

The basic version is the programming software with the radioreference.com import.
The pro version also has history logging/audio recording.

If you don't need that the basic version should be enough,

There will also be an upgrade option ( basic > pro) available later this year.

One thing I see with the logging and hit count is when a multi site system is being logged the hit count is based on tower / TGID. so when a TG is seen on multiple towers it is counted seperate for each one.

Would it not make more sense for it to be system / TGID for the count?

The problem is that when the scanner stops on a TGid it does not report the trunk system name to the software, it only reports site and group name.

Am I the only one that misses the color and font options in the virtual display?I have other versions running (arc250/arc780) at the same time, and the different
color backgrounds really help.

Any chance of having ARC996 open the last system profile automatically? I believe ARC396 does this with no troubles.
