For any intertested this was the answer from the Barbados communications ministry.


These Scanners are All Illegal and not permitted in Barbados.
There is a fine inclusive of both Financial and Incarceration as penalties for breaking or contravening these Laws in Barbados.

So the scanner will be staying home my next trip south.
