Getting timeouts with Sentinel 2.03
Thanks
Thanks
The uploads are ready now, you can update SentinelGetting timeouts with Sentinel 2.03
Thanks
Some of you have noticed intermittent operation when updating the HPDB or firmware. Uniden is currently in the process of upgrading the servers across the board, so there may be times when these services are not available. I don't know exactly how long this process will continue, but I hope it is not too long. This was the issue with the recent 'missed' DB 9/19 update (run manually today: 9/21) and with the issues from last week. Once complete the servers should be more reliable.
So please, if you have an issue with updates, try again later.
-Still get the time out error. Tried reconstructing data base, no luck. Did a complete reinstall of Sentinel as well.
The update was working as of 10:01 AM Today, at 9:00 AM I got the update for Sentinel for last week and had to wait to 10:01 AM, I downloaded this week's Sentinel Update.

Are you still not able to update? The server is up and running as of this post.
If you still can't connect..... What ISP are you using? What is the entire error message you are seeing.
One solution would be to subscribe to a VPN provider. Then your FTP traffic would be tunneled through the VPN.
I assume T-Mobile. They have been noted for not allowing FTP for quite some time now.Problem solved! This quote is from another thread about sentinel. I have a major isp provider I really don't want to disclose. It's not Verizon either. Apparently they are blocking FTP as well. On a vpn it updated no problem. Thanks for the help.

Just be aware that if the provider ever starts using Sandvine equipment, the VPN won't help you. Sandvine routers can analyze VPN packets and determine the kind of underlying traffic that is in use and block it. They can tell the difference between video, peer-to-peer file sharing protocols, FTP, VoIP, etc.Problem solved! This quote is from another thread about sentinel.
