Hold down the following keys while turning radio on

WX & L/O = shows battery voltage (1.72 while charging, 1.66 with full battery, 1.45 needs recharging )

2, 9 & MAN = clears all memories

2, 9 & L/O = illumination diagnosis

2, 9 & PRI = puts test freqs in channels 1 - 21

2, 9 & SCAN = more test freqs

policebear it'll pick up cell phones on the still analog sprint system but as soon as it (the whole system switches to cdma digital) switches then thats it.

i hear cell from 895.000 to 929.000 mhz range.im out in the subs of columbus so if u r in a metro area u prob will not get anything. metro areas have more sprint digital coverage!!!

You haven't heard of the cell phone mod? All you need is a piece of duct tape. Simply place your scanner and cell phone next to each other and wrap the duct tape around both of them. Whenever you pick up your scanner, it will pick up your cell phone.
