BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Asterik and how to get rid of it

I'm seeing an asterisk (*) in my systems and group display on my scanner...Why is it there, and how to get rid of it ??

It is there because you have systems and lists that are not engaged. They are telling you where said system are. (I think?)

Not sure what you mean.

Here's what I have using ARC XT.....

* means that something is assigned to that QK, but the QK is disabled.
- means that nothing is assigned to that QK.
A digit (0-9) means that something is assigned to that QK, and the QK is enabled.

Great! Can you tell me how to enable that QK? Ive done it all....or so I thought.

You have enabled a service search. To turn off that search, press F+L/O, L/O (twice) while in that service search.
