At 941MHz how much will will putting antenna in attic affect reception?

Before I moved had an ATCS feed with a L-comm grid antenna in the attic. House was at a decent elevation with no obstructions and had useable MCP coverage out to 40 miles with a Lucent preamp on an MDS data radio.

FWIW, when I had my ATCSMon server, I used antennas in the attic. I had no problems picking up signals.
