Well that sucks big time. I'm already pretty much locked in to ATT for phone srvive and internet service. I know, I could change internet providers but it would be a mamoth undertaking to change all my email references. Very happy with T-mobile prepaid service. Not at all an ATT fan. Remember back when the government broke up ATT because it wasv a monoploy? What a crock. Slowly but surely they are coming back to more of a monopoly trhen before.

Funny how it was BELL SOUTH then Cingular. Cingular takes over AT&T wireless and now it is all back to AT&T.

remember also before it was cingular it was (omnipoint). now the news reports are stating that if approved at&t is going ahead with the 4g network almost immediatly.cant quote on that its only hear say at this time.only time will tell-it wont be long before other smaller carriers file lawsuit on the monopoly.

I have AT&T for Cell service and the service is pretty bad for the last month I get no service in my home .It also has been cutting out at any givin time I had them try and look into it they just want to sell me a new phone .thats not the fix it is the issue with all 3 phones we have .

T Mobile USA started life as Western Wirelss, then changed to Voicestream then they were bought by DT of Germany. Got home a week ago fom a short trip to The Netherlands and Germany, parts of which involved travelling by train in Holland. Quite a few of their passenger cars were equipped with WiFi, with service by T Mobile, that worked well. We had Skype on our Iphones so while on the train we could call back home using Skype and not run up a big international roaming bill on the cellular network.

I have AT&T for Cell service and the service is pretty bad for the last month I get no service in my home .It also has been cutting out at any givin time I had them try and look into it they just want to sell me a new phone .thats not the fix it is the issue with all 3 phones we have .

Another funny thing with AT&T they try to offer people with certain phones the MicroCell. I personally think it's a joke, especially with how they want you to pay for the service. It's like paying twice, once for service on their cell towers, and a cost to have a cell tower in your house for them to fix their first problem.

Just my small rant; but if you haven't looked into the MicroCell it might be a solution to your problem at home.. They also have a "package" I think where you can get free unlimited minutes when you're connected to your MicroCell at home.

Ya they tried to give me something like that .This all started when I got AT&T Uverse Cable installed Phones lost signal all my Scanners lost reception .So after 2 month's I changed back to WOW Cable and the Scanner issue is gone in fact better but the phones are still not working well. They still cut in and out of sevice .My son has Verizon and has no issues what so ever .I hate cell phones but the females in my house cant live with out a cell .I have a cell but I only use it for emergency and its cheaper than useing a pay phone
