I recently went down to AC this past weekend and although I spent most of my time enjoying the casinos and the bars, I did do some scanning. I found some good frequencies. The first thing I would like to mention is that although radio reference database ONLY lists the 900 MHz range frequencies for Bally's (which I heard loud and clear in analog mode), there are several 400 MHz frequencies they still use! The same goes for Sands Casino Hotel and probably others that I didn't have the chance to monitor. Here they are:
Bally's Operations: 464.100, 464.575, 461.925, 464.600, 157.740, 461.550, 462.775, 463.775, 463.600, 464.775 and of course the 900 MHz talk group system
Sands Casino and Hotel: 463.500, 463.325, 462.000, 461.475, 463.675, 464.850, 464.975, and of course their 800 MHz talk group system.
*I also would like to add that sometimes without thinking, the guards at Bally's were even giving lock combinations over the air! Very careless if you ask me because you never know if a criminal is listening!!
There's more! I also noticed that a group is licensed down there called SET Communications (which I would assume the boardwalk vendors/operations use). I can confirm hearing them on 451.550 and 464.250. However, they are also licensed on 451.600, 451.700, 451.750, 461.175, 462.025, and 451.175. Does anyone know if these frequencies are used by the boardwalk vendors or some other group???
AC First Aid were poaging out on 155.175. I can also confirm hearing ACPD (traffic units) still using the conventional frequencies of 155.130 and 460.425.
Also, not licensed by the FCC, however AC cabs were using 152.390 (spanish speaking).
