Quite frequently, Auburn Fire units are instructed by the Incident Commander to "switch to Channel 2" on the scene. I'm guessing that "Channel 2" could be the Dispatch (154.400/150.790) Talk-Around. They also have a digital channel (155.5725) they use on football gamedays. Does anyone happen to know what their Channel 2 is?

It is a DMR system medic 9351301. Metrofire31 i can not say about channel 2, I also would like to know. It is funny i can get the DMR system at home loud and clear but the VHF system i never get a hit on.

Now that I live in the Auburn-Opelika area, during the game two Saturdays ago, I could monitor the "EAGLE 1" DMR channel very clearly and was able to record numerous UIDs. I would be happy to share those if there is any interest.

Since no one has yet identified Channel Two, try 155.040 MHz. That is the statewide fire mutual aid frequency. Florence Fire in Northwest Alabama uses it as their "on scene."
