Thanks, Also I've Heard Brown Freq 856.9375 Mhz In The Area.
I've picked up Brown from Contra Costa County and Columbia State Park (in Tuolumne County). I have never heard conversations on Brown in the Auburn SRA.

Note that Nimbus Flat is patrolled by state parks and is bordered by Rancho Cordova. I am across the river (and almost 300 feet higher in elevation) and pick up distant traffic on Brown.

Yes. That is the TAN channel spoke about earlier in this thread.

I hadn't heard that 858.4875 had been labeled "Tan." This frequency is used for law enforcement only at Folsom and the Auburn State Recreation Area as I understand it. I show repeaters at:

Green Valley
Pilot Hill
Sore Finger Point

Blue is also used at the Auburn SRA, Folsom Lake, and Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, all in the Gold Fields District. Orange is used at Empire Mine State Historic Park, as well as most of the park units in the Sierra Gold Sector of the Sierra District. Those units being Empire Mine, Malakoff Diggins, Plumas-Eureka, and South Yuba. Repeaters on Orange are Banner Mtn., Nulaid Ranch, Columbia Radio Site, and Backbone Ridge.

The Sierra and Gold Fields Districts are dispatched by "Northern" in Rancho Cordova. Northern used to be located near Folsom Lake but moved to Rancho Cordova some years back.

I just completed a major research project on California State Parks late last winter. I never wrote it up in a submission due to a lack of time. I'm even more pressed for time now, so I don't know when I can accomplish it.

I've never heard them refer to the channel as tan (on the air) either. But now I see that the same frequency is being used in San Joaquin county and is labeled tan:
858.48750 813.48750 BMRF 115 DPL CAPR TAN Carnegie State Vehicular Recreational Area FM Multi-Dispatch

I know it is listed that way in the database, but so far I have never heard traffic on blue from the Folsom area. In addition to it being in my back yard, I have camped and had other outings at the SRA.
