As the title describes, my sportcat 200 is having a few issues. It unpredictably loses all volume at times, but it becomes more frequent when running on the battery as opposed to being plugged in. Sometimes it will be fine for 20 plus hours without an issue, other times the volume cuts out after 3 minutes of use. When I lose volume, I get no sound even when using buttons that typically give an alert beep. The scanner indicates that it's still receiving transmissions, but no volume is present. If I turn the scanner off and restart it, the volume comes back. My main scanner is a Whistler 1080, I'm trying to get this old scanner sorted because I'm giving it to my grandfather.
