Interesting the parents or at least the Dad is being so limited with information, seems strange he's more than willing to talk to the media but not to the police.

The strange part is where they are searching. She lives by Buckley Road & they are search on Chambers. My boss lives closer to her than I do, and he has no contact with the police. I recieved a reverse 911 Monday night & a visit yeasterday.

9news is reporting a shift in the investigation, anybody hear anything?

Sounds like they might be searching the house again - possibly with a search warrant. 9News also reported the family possibly will retain an attorney - sounds like the heat is rising !

2 crime lab vehicles are now on scene at the families home - Aurora's police chief is preparing to make a statement.

In the great state of Colorado. Why?

Police chief stating that the child is believed to have been murdered in the home quite some time ago. The remaining children have been placed in protective custody with social services thinking that the children are in danger as a result of Aarone Thompson's death. Interviews will be conducted with the children regarding this case.

Aurora police are executing a search warrant and the case is now a homicide investigation. Police are not disclosing the where-abouts of the body.

The home will shortly be secured and treated as a crime scene.

Police feel that Aarone is no longer alive and possibly was killed up to a year ago.

Aurora police have no idea where the father and girlfriend are and at this point are people of interest and would like to question them further.

Aurora's acting police chief is stating that a family member tipped the police off that Aarone had possibly been killed over a year ago.

Police are searching the house for any evidence of a homicide that possibly took place.
