I stumbled onto this net once many years ago while waiting for an Army MARS net to start. Who are they?

Ok, I don't know if these frequencies are still active. I scan them on occasion, but have never heard any activity. To be honest, I don't even remember the source of where I got them, but they've been in my scanner for what seems like forever. Scan them and see if you come up with any activity.

DEMA provides unique capabilities and services to the citizens of Arizona in three distinct roles: community, state and federal.

I finally got an opportunity to pour over my database of frequencies and found the following:

7.45mhz - LSB - Supposed to be the "Broadway Consumers" HF Net
39.92mhz - Supposed to be an AZ Statewide Emergency Net

I can confirm the following as heard by me:

135.525mhz - AZ National Guard helicopter communications to the AZNG "Guard" entity.
These transmissions are repeated on 143.725mhz. The pilots even state
that they are on this frequency calling in...

142.800mhz - AZNG Helicopter - Border activity (Mule Mountain Repeater)

143.725mhz - PL 88.5 - In normal day to day operations, it is the AZ "Guard" repeater for
135.525mhz (AM mode). Everyday you hear U.S., as well as, foreign
helicopters flying around the state. Routine comms in the Silverbell Area.

143.725mhz - Also used by the AZ State EOC to conduct communications checks with all
county EOC's, mobile EOC's, ANG, and other state entities. I haven't heard
the comm checks in a while, so I don't recall when they conduct these
routine radio checks.

149.65mhz - PL 100.0 - AZ ANG (Mt Lemmon Repeater)

245.10mhz - AM - AZNG "UHF Guard" in Silverbell Area

Aizona Public Service Corporation Statewide TRS -

TG 1168 - Channel 1 - Main contact number for AZ State EOC to County
EOC's, mobile EOC's, ANG, and other state entities. Communications
checks are routinely conducted every Wednesday at 10am sharp by the
State EOC. If you have multiple APS TRS's in your area, like me, be
sure to check each system, as they do not communicate on all of the
TRS's in your area at the same time. For example, one week they will
be on the Mt Lemmon - North repeater. The next week they might be
on the Mt Lemmon - South repeater.

TG 1200 - Channel 2 - Normally used by mobile EOC's, occasionally by the
County EOC's.

TG 1232 - Possibly Channel 3 - I have not confirmed via voice what this
channel is used for, but our trusty friend "Unitrunker" shows that the
same radios talk on or at least tune to this TG too

That's my input on the AZ DEMA folks....

Thanks, FLANO for those Freqs. I was trying to figure out if this was the same DEMA that was on the APS system.
Also, a little correction on the 39.92 MHZ freq., It is 3.992 Mhz LSB.

DEMA Radio Network (DRN) updates

This radio network was the old Broadway Consumer System that was used primarily by the Arizona National Guard (AZNG). The radio system stills utilizes military frequencies, but will now be managed by ADEM and opened more for State agency use in response to emergencies. The DEMA Radio Network (DRN) provides VHF military frequency access throughout most of the state on a 9-site network that will provide backup communications to all County EOCs and field operations. Two state agencies have joined the DRN, those being State Land and Department of Corrections (DOC) . The system is now in compliance with NTIA narrow banding mandates. Primary users of the net is Task Force Raven, which provides aerial observation to enhance CBP’s coverage, Callsign "Raven". Papago Park callsign "Dog pound". Last month the DRN changed VHF frequencies. South Mountain is now operating on 141.450. Other DRN statewide frequencies 139.350, 139.4375 and 139.7125. All DRN sites are simulcasted.

From here in Yavapai County I hear radio techs on this TG, usually driving to/from sites, giving each other locations, ETAs and such.

I've been watching them on Unitrunker. It's definitely the same RID's that are on the other two TG's. It'd sure be nice to ID what tech, ie EOC fixed location or mobile, that is using them for more than tests. I have identified just about half of the RID's firmly for the EOC's. If I were going to hazard a guess, since you hear them travelling, it might be the mobile EOC's, even if they are not operating in an EOC capacity. The callsigns for the mobiles are Gecko and Toad. There is the Bullfrog too !

When stuff hits the fan, it'd be nice to have at least one leg up
