Caught TIGER11 AND TIGER 12 in the Fort Drums ranges today. They were up with Boston Center on 377.100 and then 244.500 when working in the range

I heard them when the RTB, they were up on Boston 323.00 initially cleared direct ELZ then HNN, then to Boston 273.550 and Cleveland 253.975 before I lost them. They were using 341.750 for A-A.

Is 244.500 a Fort Drum Range Frequency or an A-A frequency ?

I have it listed as Fort Drum range.

Where are you located? I am just outside Buffalo and have to relay on the VHF only side of the a Live ATC feed because I am just out of range.

Near Ottawa. I can hear traffic working in the Fort Drum Range down to around 8000 feet. So you could actually hear them on 244.500 from Buffalo ? They must have been quite high at that point. I wasn't aware of 244.500, do you know of any other Fort Drum Range frequencies that are used in that area ? Do you have a source for that ? I've not been able to find it anywhere.

I've heard the VT ANG F-35s mention calling "Ice Digger" and "Bark Eater" when working in the Viper airspace before they head over the Ranges but have not been able to find any corresponding UHF frequencies. Maybe 244.500 is one, did you notice if the B-2s used a callsign to address the ground station ?

I'm near Lake George and can hear the F-35 and F-15's when they are in Viper pretty well. 244.5 is Barkeater at Fort Drum. The B-2's also worked Barkeater.
