Baltimore Scanner Feed

For those few who use the feed occasionally, new address information:

Old - http://72.1.156.44:8000/listen.pls

New - http://66.93.53.30:8000/listen.pls


If DynDNS updated successfully (the router says it did), you should still be able to access it at http://baltimorescanner.ham-radio-op.net:8000/listen.pls .

Seems to have gone blank, can not open any of the BPD live feeds , I had baltimorescanner.ham-radioop...000/listen.pls in my favortes, not it will not work??
Any ideas about the cause?

'cause I had the scanner on the road, field-testing some reprogramming I did....it may go down again over the next couple of days as I do my Xmas traveling...

Thanks for the feed. I am sending a friend a used Pro95 when I get my PSR 500 up and running. Would you be willing to help him get a feed up sometime too?

I probably could...but setting up a Shoutcast feed isn't all that hard...they pretty much spell it out for ya on Shoutcast.com (assuming that's the format they're going to use). Worst part for me was the confusion over the port the server listens for a stream on, and the port that serves the stream to the rest of the world. I kept confusing the two, and couldn't figure out why the encoder wasn't being seen by the server app...and of course, having the wrong port forwarded on the router didn't help...

What town will they be attempting to set up a scanner feed from?

Cool...I'm assuming he's just going to be monitoring Baltimore County with a PRO-95....City is digital.
