In SDR# 1.0.0.1807, when analyzing signals in a piece of spectrum where different analog and digital protcols are mixed, I often have to change bandwidth and squelch (repeatedly). It would be far easier to have user-configurable pushbuttons like (Label: Mode / Bandwidth (Hz) / Squelch / Step size):
  • UN: FM / 4000 / 58 / 3125
  • N: FM / 8100 / 46 / 6250
  • PC: FM / 9800 / 43 / 12500
  • W: FM / 16000 / 38 / 20000
  • PG: FM / 20000 / 36 / 25000
  • A: AM / 6000 / 43 / 25000
The pushbuttons would have the specified label on them and set the specified mode, bandwidth, squelch, and step size when clicked. If a value is not specified, it should not be set (e.g., "W: FM / 16000 / /" would set mode and bandwidth, leaving squelch and step size as is).

They could replace the existing mode radio buttons in the Radio window; the default install would have configured replacements for them like "AM: AM / 6000 / 50 / 25000", "NFM: FM / 8000 / 50 / 12500", etc.

One sub-second click of a button would replace many seconds of clicks and scroll-wheel manipulation.

Perhaps a plug-in like this?

Wow. Zactly (y)

[Add: To clarify what I was doing above: I didn't mean to suggest a new config file and format just for this; I imagine the config can be done in the existing XML config framework.]
