I had to make a Baofeng marine channel codeplug for an associate. The codeplug is RX only and has all the proper channel number names for USA/Canada. The codeplug is formatted for the Baofeng (UV82) Software .dat file as well as for Chirp .img file. If it OK with the mods/admin I will post the .dat and .img files in this thread.

You do know that information can be downloaded into Chirp from the RR database import function for the UV82?

If you need to post it the smart thing to do is save it with CHIRP as a .csv file.
CHIRP .img image files should be considered radio-specific. If you upload one to a different radio, even the same radio model with different firmware, it might not work or in worst case it could brick the radio.

You don't even need to download from Radio Reference, since Chirp had a feature to import standard channel directly and marine channels on in this mix.
