We've got the Joint National Capitol Region net on ~380Mhz, which is way out of band for my 800-900Mhz yagi (and wrong direction anyway!). Can anyone recommend an omnidirectional base station antenna for the 380Mhz band, preferably one with some gain? Thanks!

I use this antenna with a ground plane kit and it works well for me. I'm about 20 miles away from my base LMR system and have no issues whatsoever. I have it mounted on a pole at 20 feet using Andrew Heliax: FSJ4-50B CommScope® / Andrew HELIAX® 1/2" Super Flexible Foam Coaxial Cable

Thanks! I may try to piece together something homebrew as i think i've got a piece of metal i can use as a ground plane and some spare wire around. I'll check it with the NanoVNA to see if it's resonating around 385Mhz, and if does and gives me decent reception i'll look into the commercial version for actually mounting someplace.
