Circuit City = $206.99 + $16.04 Tax + 4.99 3-Day Shipping = $228.02 Total
Bearcat Warehouse= $198.90 + $0.00 Tax + $33.50 3-Day Shipping = $232.40 Total
Scanner Master= $219.95 + $0.00 Tax + $25.61 3-Day Shipping = $245.56 Total

With ground shipping, CC ranks below BearcatWarehouse, but above Scanner Master. Any upgraded shipping charges at BW and SM destroy any savings. And if you get the CC scanner and you dont want it, you can return it to any store if its unopened.

Fore my purposes, it looks like the best available deal. This is definitely not an exhaustive list though, Is there anywhere else i should check?

Advanced Specialties has that Scanner for $222, & has a flat $6.99 shipping on your entire order, if you plan on adding software or accessories .......

your not kidding on that i hope it is just a typo since the 396 is the same price.or they are trying to cash in on the fact that it is discontinued.

It's not people have called them and asked, since it's discontinued, I guess they think it's a collectors item.

www.scannerworld.com is advertising BR330T Available in April 2008 for $235.00 + $14.00 shipping. UPMAN is this true?? Will Uniden be offering more of these in the future?

The 330 was disco'd by Uniden. I bought one direct from Uniden at the right time as a refurb. The refurbs were quietly moving til someone hyped them up. The 330 is a great little scanner. Then supply and demand kicked in. Desperate hobbyists. Overloaded pocket protectors. Frantic searches. Vendors with a penchant for bigger profit. and, people are still asking around..."Anyone got any 330's at a good price?....."

I saw the 330 price of $499 at Scannermaster....same price as what they are selling the 396 for. Typo?..... Last I saw the remote head price hasn't gone down anywhere....looks like Uniden was the only one to reduce the ticket price for that item. I just received a "March Madness" e flyer from Uniden's site. Uniden 246 is $208.99 + shipping for a refurb.

Those 330's would probably still be around at a decent price if hobbyists didn't act like a bunch of dope fiends chasing down some good stuff. Just like the street dealers, the scanner dealers pay attention to how the customers act. Just my 2 cents. Don't drop bombs on me from Michigan!

Those BR330Ts didn't go all that fast after I posted the link to UnidenDirect here. If they had I wouldn't have gotten mine. I think it took me almost a week to "pull the trigger" and get myself one. I am ever glad I did though.
