BC346XT Public Safety Issue

Somehow I have got the Public Safety stuck on unless I assign a Qkey and shut it off that way. How do you disable the preprogrammed Public Safety?

Sounds like you are in service search. It should clear just by pressing scan. Or try going to menu, service search,public safety, and see if you can turn it off there.

You could also post in the Uniden forum and a fellow 346 owner may be more familiar with that particular model.

F+L/O, L/O while it is in that service search will lock it out.
