Hello. Great site and forum, thank you.
I got my wife the above scanner for the holiday. I have been successful programming in the local things she wants to listen to. I have 41 channels init but while scanning, we keep getting the following readout with a loud annoying stutter sound. The display shows "Hi FOUND" with the "Hi" offset from the word and slightly above left on the screen.
Lockout does nothing and one has to manually hit scan each time only to have this happen over and over again. We have had periods of hours where it does not do this and seems to scan the frequencies normally.
Any ideas. Google and forum searches have not really produced much for me. Thanks.
