BCD 396XT Help

I told a friend that I'd help him out and program his 396xt for him after the rebanding. Now I find out that I will need some info about the firmware update or updates.

Here I my questions:

1. How do I find out which version of the firmware is installed?
2. If there are more than one update from the version that he has in his scanner, are these updates incremental or will they be combined?

Once I get this info then I guess the real "FUN" part of the job begins. I plan on using Freescan for the programming of the systems that he wants. Any suggestions on the template for the programming?

Yes, combined

Since you are a premium member, you could just download what he needs, and the template will be established from the download.
Otherwise, use what has worked for you.
